Who we are
Established in September 2024 as Oxfordshire Trail Association, OX Trails mission is to develop and maintain off-road cycling trails across the county of Oxfordshire, ensuring a sustainable network of trails and tracks for all abilities.
Our primary objectives are:
Working in partnership with councils and landowners to identify opportunities to develop new and established trails and tracks.
Working in partnership with local riders and communities to ensure trails and tracks are fit for purpose, meeting the needs of all abilities and off-road cycling disciplines.
Raising funds to support the development and maintenance of off-road cycling trails, pump tracks, BMX tracks and respective facilities.
Coordinating development, care and maintenance of trails and tracks across Oxfordshire.
Our long-term goals are:
Providing spaces for all ages and abilities to train and develop their riding skills, encouraging active lifestyles in benefit of health and wellbeing.
Promote diversity in cycling.
Positive promotion of off-road cycling to wider communities to enhance the harmony between cyclists and other trail and park users.
Encourage environmental and socially responsible off-road cycling through the promotion of an off-road cycling code of conduct.
